Greenboro is a relatively new area in Ottawa, over 90 per cent of homes built after 1970.
Located on the southern part of Ottawa proper close to Bank Street. It is bordered by Albion, Johnston, and Conroy and Hunt Club roads and forms a popular neighbourhood with the South Keys community.
Most homes are suburban style two storey single and townhouses with many stacked condos. This neighbourhood is more centrally located than most Ottawa suburbs making a downtown commute faster.
Shopping and Entertainment
The main shopping destination is South Keys Mall and it offers dozens of shopping, dining options and a multi-plex cinema. The Greenboro Community Centre is a modern building housing an excellent library, gym, children programs, after school and summer camps.
South Keys, located by Bank Street just North of the Hunt Club and Bank Street intersection and it is characterized by single homes built mainly in the 1970s with large lots and beautiful trees.
